Denomination: Church of England
Bigby is a small community in the Lincolnshire Wolds, between Brigg and Caistor and is in West Lindsey Local Authority. It no longer has any working farms, and its population mainly commutes to work in the surrounding area. The church and the adjacent village hall are our only public buildings. Children in the village attend Grasby or Caistor schools.
All Saints’ Church is Grade I listed, dating from the 13th century, with a 14th century south aisle and a narrow north aisle that was rebuilt in 1779.
Bigby All Saints now has one church service a month (11.00 on the third Sunday), which has an average congregation of 15, many of whom live in Brigg or surrounding villages.
