Denomination: Vineyard
Our Vision and Values
The purpose of the Aberdeen Vineyard is to be a body of believers that pursues authentic Christian life and endeavours to develop mature, reproducible, Spirit-filled Christian disciples that will:
Receive ministry from the Lord Jesus--His saving grace, forgiveness, healing and unconditional love--through the revelation of the Bible and by the Holy Spirit.
Minister to the Lord-- be uninhibited in worship, devoted in prayer, generous in giving and in serving.
Minister with the Lord--proclaiming His words and doing His works.
We value:
The Presence of God - as we worship God in the freedom of the Spirit
- as we pray and intercede
- as we give of our time, money and resources to the Church and the Kingdom
The Word of God - as we study and teach the bible clearly and accurately, producing sound doctrine
The Kingdom of God - as we equip the saints to reproduce the work of ministry and raise up mature Christian
disciples and leaders
- as we build relationships to form community with the local church body
- as we evangelistically reach out to the unsaved and unchurched in our communities with the Gospel
- as we commit to mission--church planting at home, world mission abroad
The Mercy of God - as we minister with the gifts of the Holy Spirit in operation
- as we minister to the poor
- as we minister the love of Jesus to the sick and hurting by praying for healing and looking for God to provide signs and wonders
