Denomination: United Methodist Church
A&M UMC is a 1300+ member congregation located in the Northgate area of College Station, Texas, across from Texas A&M University. We offer two traditional-style worship services and one contemporary service on Sunday mornings.
Additionally, during the school year, we offer Mosaic, a worship service for college students, on Thursday evenings.
We provide dynamic Christian programs for all ages, placing special emphasis on discipleship, missions and outreach. In addition to these opportunities, the Weekday School at A&M United Methodist Church is a preschool program that was developed and is maintained with the purpose of providing affordable Christian-based child care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten from our local community.
Our Vision
A&M United Methodist Church seeks to be a Christ-centered church made up of highly committed members worshiping God, growing as disciples, and serving others through the gifts God has given us. We affirm our heritage to minister to and with the university community. We seek to be a church that invests in the lives of persons outside of a Christ-centered congregation, inviting others to experience the wonder of God and the journey of discipleship. We desire to share the message of Christ through community, compassion and faith. We dream of being a church that makes a transforming difference in the lives of our members, our community, and our world.
