The gospel is news about what Christ the Savior has already done for us (in his life, death and resurrection), rather than instruction and advice about what we are to do for God. Christ’s accomplishment, not ours, is the essence of the gospel.
Everyone is on some kind of spiritual journey. Some are skeptical about God, the Church or the Bible. Others have questions about faith and are seeking answers. Some have recently become Christ-followers and others have believed for a long time. Whether you’re just starting to ask questions about God, or church; or a committed Christian who is looking to go deeper in faith and fellowship, we invite you to be our special guest here at Summerlin Community Church.
Ministry Vision
EXALTING Jesus Christ in all that we do as a church. This is our goal for everything at the church is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.
EXPOSING Las Vegas and the World to the Grace of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ through individual evangelism, outreach events, evangelistic Bible studies, small groups, missions conferences, support of missions and missions trips.
ENCOURAGING and EQUIPPING the body of Christ for effective ministry in our homes, church, community and world through expository preaching, small group Bible studies, individual discipleship as needed, and special equipping events.
