St Michael welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the St Albans area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Michael at St Albans, Hertfordshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Michael is to make an impact for God, here in St Albans, Hertfordshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Sunday
Holy Communion
This is a said service in traditional language, often with a short address based on the readings of the day
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes
Parish Communion
This is a contemporary language service with a sermon on the readings of the day. We sing 3-4 hymns and the music is usually led by the choir. Children’s groups run alongside this service in term-time, except when there is an All Age service (usually on the second Sunday of the month) when we are all in church together. This service is followed by refreshments in the Parish Centre. This service is particularly appropriate for families with children.

Choral Evensong
This beautiful monthly service led by our choir is a wonderful opportunity to relax, listen, and pray.
Every fourth Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
Tuesday
Tiny Tots
A free group for parents, carers and pre-school children
Term time only
Every Tuesday at 9:45 AM for 1½ hours
Wednesday
Holy Communion
This is a short midweek communion service in contemporary language, sometimes with a brief reflection on the readings of the day.
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
Bell ringing practice
Every Wednesday at 8:00 PM for 1 hour
Friday
