St Michael & All Angels welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Boreham Wood area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Michael & All Angels at Boreham Wood, Hertfordshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Michael & All Angels is to make an impact for God, here in Boreham Wood, Hertfordshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Times

Junior Church
A group of between 6 and 15 children meets every Sunday morning in our Church Hall for activities and learning about the Christian faith. They join the adults in church for communion and a blessing.
No separate activities in August.

Family Communion
Our main act of worship from Common Worship Order One and Anglican Hymns Old & New etc.
Junior Church meets in the hall for activities and join us for the Communion.
Children from age 7 may receive Communion after formal admission at Pentecost each year.

Songs of Praise
a monthly Sunday evening service of worship, singing and prayer for healing, at either St Michael's or Holy Cross Church, Balmoral Drive
The Sunday of the month may vary for festivals or special Sundays:

Sunday 7th December 9.30am Advent Carols, Readings and Communion
Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for 50 minutes

House Groups
2 separate Bible study groups in the church/parish or in members' homes:
Mondays 7.30pm at 4 Alma Court
1st Wednesdays monthly 1pm weekly in All Saints Shenley Rd

Borehamwood Foodbank
Borehamwood Foodbank, est April 2013, is based at St Teresa's Catholic Church Shenley Rd on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. St Michael's is a 'collection point' for donations of food.
Applicants may have up to 3 days supply of basic foods and other necessities but need to bring a voucher issued to them by one of the professional agencies, eg Job Centre, Borough Council, CAB, Schools, GP, health/care visitors etc.
Monday afternoons from 2.30pm and Thursday mornings 10am.
Family lunches are served by invitation during school holidays on Wednesdays

Thursdays weekly 4pm worship songs, meditation and ex tempore prayer

a monthly meeting at the Vicarage on a Friday afternoon to read and enjoy poetry
