St Mary the Virgin welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Elland area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Mary the Virgin at Elland, West Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Mary the Virgin is to make an impact for God, here in Elland, West Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Order One with Hymns and Sermon, and Sunday School.

Evening Prayer
Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer, with Hymns, Sung Canticles and an Address or Reflection.
Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for 40 minutes
Wednesday
Holy Communion
A Eucharist using the Book of Common Prayer
Every Wednesday at 9:30 AM for ½ hour
Saturday
Coffee Morning
Coffee Morning with Bring and Buy sale and stalls. The Church is also open, a chance to light a candle, and pause for a moment.
Every first Saturday at 10:00 AM for 2 hours
