St Mary Magdalene welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Hucknall area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Mary Magdalene at Hucknall, Nottinghamshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.

Family Eucharist
This is the main family service on all but the second Sunday of the month
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Sunday
Holy Communion
This is a said service which may use either the BCP or Common Worship.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 50 minutes
Family Eucharist
This is the main family service on all but the second Sunday of the month
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
All Age Worship
This is a none eucharistic service of praise for all the family.
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for 50 minutes
Hope and Remembrance
This is the service for all the recently bereaved families in the parish
Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for ¾ hour
Holy Communion
On the second Sunday of the month we hold a communion service in the evening
Every second Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Sunday Evening Service
This service may be one of the following :-
Evening prayer, Taize, Compline, Songs of Praise, Healing or indeed any other appropriate form.
Every third fourth and fifth Sunday at 6:00 PM for ¾ hour

Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour
Tuesday Holy Communion
Every Tuesday at 10:15 AM for ¾ hour
Wednesday
Morning Prayer
Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour

Every Thursday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour
Friday
Friday Lunchtime Service
A short service of reflection with music
Every Friday at 12:30 PM for ½ hour
