St Mary Magdalene welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Hartlepool area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Mary Magdalene at Hartlepool, Cleveland is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Mary Magdalene is to make an impact for God, here in Hartlepool, Cleveland by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
3@4 Mission Service
Our 3@4 Service is a joyful, informal, candle-lit service suitable for all ages, especially young families or those beginning on their faith journey. The service takes place every month and combines informal talks and prayer stations with multi-media and a live praise band. There are refreshments served providing an opportunity to get to know other families and some regular members of the church afterwards.
Every third Sunday at 4:00 PM for 1 hour
Family Service with Holy Communion
Our Family Service is a relaxed and friendly service of Holy Communion, with digital media, music and an informal talk. It is suitable for all ages and stages in faith and we welcome visitors.
Every first Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour

Said Eucharist - Book of Common Prayer
A peaceful, spoken service with Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer.
Every first Sunday at 8:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Service with Holy Communion
Our Family Service is a relaxed and friendly service of Holy Communion, with digital media, music and an informal talk. It is suitable for all ages and stages in faith and we welcome visitors.
Every first Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
Eucharist
Our weekly eucharist is suitable for all ages, and includes a variety of hymns.
During the service children are welcomed into the Sunday School if they wish. We also have children's toys near the enterance of the main church which members will gladly locate for you if you wish.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
