St. John the Baptist Church
Anglican Church
This church exists to:
Worship God
Reflect His glory and be His presence in the world
Grow in grace and understanding
Care for all by acting as a focus for community
Bring others to accept Jesus as Lord
St John the Baptist is an Anglican church in the small village of Egglescliffe, close to Yarm and Stockton-on-Tees.
There has been a church on this site since the 12th Century, and the current building has many ancient architectural features and an interesting history.
We are a friendly and welcoming church with regular services of worship, family and children’s events, and we also hold funeral and wedding services.
The Priest-in-Charge of St John’s is Rev Sylvia Wilson, who arrived in March 2014. She would love to meet you and welcome you to the church.
