St. John's Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Wimborne area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St. John's Church at Wimborne, Dorset is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St. John's Church is to make an impact for God, here in Wimborne, Dorset by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Morning Service
Morning
This is the earlier of the two Morning Services held every Sunday. On the first Sunday of the month there is Communion at both services. The style for all services is fairly contemporary with a range of songs, hymns and music. There are no children's activities at this service - come at 11am instead.
Coffee is served after the service.
Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour
The Eleven @ St John's
Morning
This is the later Morning Service held every Sunday. On the first Sunday of the month there is Communion at both services. The style for this service is contemporary and relaxed with a range of songs, hymns and music. There is a crèche and a range of children’s and youth activities.
Coffee and biscuits are served after this service.
Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Messy Church
Games, crafts and songs on a Bible theme for families. A cooked hot meal is also provided.
Every first Sunday at 3:00 PM for 1½ hours
Evening Services
There is a 6.30pm service every Sunday. Whilst the evening service style is designed to be accessible for all ages. It is the most contemporary of the services. The third Sunday service in the month is normally a communion service. After the evening service there are people available to offer prayer ministry for those who seek this. After the evening service the youth meet for Fuse.

Mid-week Holy Communion Services
There is a Prayer Book Communion service twice a month, generally at 10.30am on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays with an average attendance of 33. For exact dates please refer to the Teaching Programme or the latest Noticesheet.
