St James welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Blackburn area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St James at Blackburn, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St James is to make an impact for God, here in Blackburn, Lancashire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Joint Communion Service
Once a month, we all gather together to celebrate the Eucharist and enjoy fellowship as a whole church family.
Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Service
Our family-friendly non-Eucharistic worship service.
Every first second third and fifth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Cafe Church
An informal service in a relaxed setting, with the opportunity for discussion and fellowship and a light meal provided.
Every fourth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Midweek Communion
Our midweek said Communion service.
Every Wednesday at 11:15 AM for ¾ hour
Saturday
Prayer Breakfast
We gather once a month on a Saturday to enjoy a bacon and egg breakfast together and to pray for the needs of our community and the world.
Every first Saturday at 8:30 AM for 1½ hours
