Denomination: Roman Catholic
Established in 1917 as a Jesuit mission in west-end Montreal, our Parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola is today a large and valued community within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal.
We are an English-speaking congregation – diverse in age, origin and culture – that comes together to worship, to find community and to seek a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith.
Our unique church facility welcomes and benefits our parishioners, the Archdiocese and neighboring communities alike. We strive for joyous celebration in our liturgies and active participation in parish life and ministry.
We rely on the commitment of our clergy and laity to work together for the greater glory of God. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we aspire to be a people of prayer, living out the Gospel message in everyday life.
