St Giles welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Northampton area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Giles at Northampton, Northamptonshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Giles is to make an impact for God, here in Northampton, Northamptonshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
Sunday
Morning Worship
All meeting together in the church for the first half hour.
Adults then have a choice - to remain in the church for a sermon, or to go to the church centre, across the road, for input and discussion groups. The children also go to the centre for age-specific circle groups at that point.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we all remain together in the church.
Sundays during the school summer holidays are usually different.
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours
Hymns of Praise
Hymns of Praise service on the fourth Sunday of each month, followed by tea and cakes
Every fourth Sunday at 3:00 PM for 1 hour
Evening Worship
7.00pm - Evening Worship, sometimes with Communion.
On the 1st Sunday of the month we have a joint Celebration with Youth Zone, followed by the p.o.s.t. cafe.
Every Sunday at 7:00 PM for 1½ hours
Thursday
Mid Week Service
Holy Communion or traditional morning prayer.
Every Thursday at 11:00 AM for ½ hour
