St. Francis Xavier

Roman Catholic

St. Francis Xavier, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

The Mission Statement of St. Francis Xavier Parish is: "A Welcoming Community, empowered by Baptism, committed to the Gospel."

Through our Baptism, we are sacramentally assimilated to Jesus and are truly his brothers and sisters, called to take on his misison. The mission is to serve and reach out to all people - the youth, the young families and the aged. We will welcome all people and listen to and accept them as they are. We will encourage and support family prayer as we remain strongly rooted in the Eucharist.

We will continue to witness to the Gospel by our involvement in the ministries of the Church. With our actions of good will, we work towards building a faith community that reaches out to all with love and generosity, to make our world a better place to live.

May everything we do begin with our Lord's inspiration, continue with His help, and reach perfection under His guidance.
