Denomination: Anglican Church
St. David’s is a place of joy and hope. Our community is drawn from across the city and around the globe. Our experiences of life and faith are incredibly diverse. Yet we are called together each week by a God who loves us more than we can ask or imagine. We want to meet you, to learn from you, and to serve alongside you.
Bread of Life Bakers
Our bakers meet together the first Saturday of every month at 9am to bake bread to sell to our community and also to donate to those in need. We're always looking for new bakers! Contact the office for more information or email [email protected].
Euchre
Join us every Monday night, 6:30-10:30 in the Parish Hall.
Good Soil Community Garden
The Good Soil Community Garden was launched as a new area of outreach ministry in the Spring of 2010. The garden is open to members of our local neighbourhood and our church community. Good Soil provides gardeners with an opportunity to grow and enjoy plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables, access green space, help care for creation, socialize with others, participate in light physical activity and share our harvest with our local foodbank.
Community gardening promotes the mental and emotional wellness of gardeners, combats hunger in our neighbourhood, greens our community and worship space and improves our connection with God, each other and with the land.
For more information about the Good Soil Community Garden please call the church office or email us at [email protected].
