St David welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Childwall area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St David at Childwall, Merseyside is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St David is to make an impact for God, here in Childwall, Merseyside by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
Sunday
Sunday School
Meets during Morning Worship on all but the 2nd Sunday of the month during term time.
Children leave the main service after the Gospel Reading.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 35 minutes
Sung Eucharist
Main Act of Worship. Sunday School and Youth group go to their own meetings part way through the service. There is a creche available.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Family / Parade Service
A service for all the family and the uniformed organisations of the parish.
Every second Sunday at 10:30 AM for ¾ hour
Healing Service
A Healing Service with the laying on of hands. Usually led by members of the Healing Team.
A time for quiet and reflection
The Church is linked to the Guild of St. Raphael. A link to the Guild is provided from the bottom of our Main Page
Every third Sunday at 6:30 PM for ¾ hour
Wednesday
Mid Week Communion
A quieter, short Communion Service held in the St. Stephen's (Chapel)
Every Wednesday at 7:30 PM for ½ hour
