St Catharine welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Wigan area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Catharine at Wigan, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Catharine is to make an impact for God, here in Wigan, Lancashire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

This is an informal Communion service, it is held at St Catharine's Church.

Every Tuesday at 10:00 AM for 40 minutes
Craft & Chat
Bring something your making eg Knitting, sewing or someone might do some painting or drawing

Every second Tuesday at 1:30 PM for 2 hours
Brownies
Held in the Parish Hall, situated across the road from the church and attached to the school.

Wednesday
Tiddlers
Lots to occupy the little ones and new friends to be made, giving the grown ups time to relax and have a cuppa and chat.
HELD IN St CATHARINE'S PARISH HALL, which is situated across the road from the Church, next to St Catharine's C of E School
Tiddlers Christmas party is 10th December 2014 - will restart on Wednesday 14th January 2015
