St. Ambrose of Milan Mission

Orthodox Church in America

St. Ambrose of Milan Mission, Roanoke, Virginia, United States
Pascha at St Ambrose!

St Ambrose of Milan Mission is a new congregation of the Orthodox Church in America in the Roanoke Valley in Virginia. We are presently worshipping at the Roanoke Garden Club in Roanoke (3640 Colonial Ave), two blocks from Electric Blvd.

We are a tiny mission, at present, but we are filled with love for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and for his Holy Orthodox Church. Our pastor is Fr Sam Gantt.

Do come and visit. You will love our "primitive" Orthodox liturgies, as well as the exceptional gospel preaching by Fr Sam. You will feel right at home. If you are new to Orthodoxy, you will find that St Ambrose is an accessible and welcoming introduction to the faith of the ancient Church.

Our liturgical schedule:

Vespers: Saturday evening, 6:00 p.m.

Divine Liturgy: Sunday morning, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesdays of Lent: Liturgy of the Presanctified: 6:00 p.m.

Our liturgies are celebrated exclusively in English.

Service Times

Our regular services are Vespers at 6:00pm on Saturdays and Hours and Divine Liturgy on Sundays at 9:30am.
