We are a congregation of believers in God and Jesus Christ, seeking to live out Christ’s call to “love one another.” We are amazing in our diversity and extraordinary in our enthusiasm for each other and for the work of the church. We are guided by an intellectual curiosity in spiritual, religious, social and political life.
We acknowledge our disagreements, attempt to shoulder each other’s burdens and revel in a community that historically has sought to make an impact on Columbia and the world. As the congregation enters its second century, we look not so much to the past as to the future, sowing seeds for a new century of Christian outreach.
