Scalloway was once the capital of Shetland (until 1708) and is a bustling small town with a fine museum and other facilities. It has a population of approx. 1000.

"We are a God centred church family located in the heart of Scalloway. Our Sunday celebrations and Sunday Club take place weekly and Messy Church and Cafe Church are monthly."

Scalloway's Minister is the Rev David Lees. Church Stewards are Mrs Thelma Pottinger, Mrs Joan Duncan and Mr Gerald Duncan.

Worship In The ScallowayChurch

Services built around a theme take place every Sunday morning at 10.45am. Services throughout Shetland are listed on our Preaching Plan (issued quarterly) giving details of dates, times, type of service and who is preaching.

Evening services also take place at 6pm (again see the plan for details) and visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome at both services. Following the 6pm service there is tea and fellowship on offer.

Other activities include:

•Midweek Bible Study, prayer groups and home groups and special events organised by the church

•Messy Church - last Sunday of each month (10.45am)

•Sunday Club (ages 4-12, weekly on Sunday at 10.45am)

•Café Church - meets monthly on the 2nd Sunday at 10:45 in Scalloway Youth Centre. Fresh waffles on offer!
