Sandal Methodist Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Wakefield area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Sandal Methodist Church at Wakefield, West Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Sandal Methodist Church is to make an impact for God, here in Wakefield, West Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
We meet together each week to worship God, through the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We have three different styles of Church service on Sundays and another type during the week.
*9.30am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month
A short contemporary style of service for everyone from 0 to 90.
*10.30am on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays each month
A service with something for everyone, lasting for about an hour, with a mixture of modern and traditional styles, and music led by the choir.
*10.45 am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month
A more traditional service aimed at adults, and music led by the choir.
*6.00pm every Sunday
A traditional style service with a focus on Bible teaching.
