Sacred Heart Parish
Roman Catholic
The Sacred Heart Parish is located at 39th and "J" Streets in east Sacramento. The parish was established in 1926 in the Diocese of Sacramento.
Sacred Heart Parish is a vibrant community of believers, striving to be faithful to the Great Commandment to love God and one another unconditionally. By virtue of our Baptism, each of us is called to reach out in Christian service with a generous heart and an open mind.
Our parish has a venerable tradition of outreach and service. We have been blessed with people who have been generous in giving of their time, talent, and treasure to the work of Christ in this portion of His vineyard and beyond.
The mission of Sacred Heart Church is to call people to develop a personal relationship with God, to build a community of faith and worship, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by serving the needs of all people through the guidance of the Holiy Spirit.
