Restore Community Church
Non-Denominational / Independent
Restore Community Church is a diverse, lively and growing church of over 450 people, meeting on two sites: in Loughton and in Enfield, at be:church. We also partner with Loughton Methodist Church to resource a third congregation at Trinity. We are passionate about seeing communities transformed through the love of Jesus and run several community projects through our sister charity Above + Beyond, including the Restore Centre, Loughton Foodbank and Noah’s Ark.
Our largest congregation, Restore Loughton, meets in Debden, with over 350 adults and children, drawing people from Loughton and the surrounding communities in Epping Forest, Redbridge and Essex. Restore is very much a family church, with strong and vibrant youth and children’s ministries, and also a church with a heart for the nations – a fact that is reflected in having over 30 different nations within the church.
We believe in working in partnership with others to build the kingdom of God and we have really close relationships with the other local churches. Ian King is co-chair of Churches Together in Loughton with Wayne Dulson of Loughton Baptist Church; we regular partner with Epping Forest Community Church to run community events in Debden; and, we partner with St. Mary’s Loughton to run the Loughton Foodbank.
On a wider level, Restore Community Church is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, friends with Doxa Deo Church, a member of the New Wine Network and a link-church of Ichthus Christian Fellowship.
Restore Community Church meets on Sundays at 10.30am at Davenant Foundation School, Chester Road, Loughton IG10 2LD.
Service Times
NOTE: From 4 September 2016 we will have two identical morning services 9-10.30am and 11am-12.15pm.
We meet every Sunday at 10.30 am at Davenant Foundation School, Chester Road, Loughton, Essex IG10 2LD. The service is informal, fun, friendly and accessible to all ages.
We usually have lively, contemporary worship, followed by a relevant and engaging talk based on the Bible.
There are also activities for all ages of children and youth – we believe that young people are very much a part of church today and also the leaders of tomorrow.
Services usually end around 12.15 pm, when tea/coffee and refreshments are served.
Come and visit us sometime – we love having new people around!
