The coordinating of the mission stations is done out of Fort Smith. We support the missions financially, and help appoint missionaries. We also help with maintenance, repairs, and arrange crews of volunteers to go into each station and do any needed work. The mission buildings and land are all owned by the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission but each mission station operates as a PAOC associate church. The goal is to create self supporting churches that can then help assist the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission to reach other communities with the Gospel.

Northern Canada is a huge sparsely populated area where many communities have no real church. In fulfilling the Great Commission, we Canadians have neglected to look out our own back door. The North is truly a mission field with eight official languages, and many diverse cultures. Fort Smith also is the home of the Fort Smith Pentecostal Church, under the leadership of Rev. Harold Gambler, and the Extended Hand Ministries, operated by the Pentecostal church. The Sub-Arctic Leadership Training College, a bible school designed to equip native leaders is located here as well. Please pray and help us to reach our brothers and sisters in Northern Canada.
