Mary Harris Memorial Chapel of the Holy Trinity welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Exeter area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Mary Harris Memorial Chapel of the Holy Trinity at Exeter, Devon is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Mary Harris Memorial Chapel of the Holy Trinity is to make an impact for God, here in Exeter, Devon by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Times

Sunday
Sung Eucharist
Holy Communion is celebrated most Sundays. This includes hymns and an address. Four/five times each term this is a Choral Eucharist with the (Chapel) Choir.

Monday
Morning Prayer
A peaceful way to start the working day, morning prayer is part of the daily rhythm of prayer and worship at the (Chapel). It includes a psalm, Bible readings, responses and prayers, and is followed by tea and biscuits in the Old Library for anyone who does not have work or lectures immediately afterwards.
Term time only
Every Monday at 8:30 AM for 25 minutes
Evening Prayer
An excellent way to wind down after a day's work, evening prayer is part of the daily rhythm of prayer and worship at the (Chapel). It involves a psalm, Bible readings, responses and prayers. On Wednesdays evening prayer is replaced by Choral Evensong, where the (Chapel) Choir leads the worship.
Every Monday at 5:00 PM for ½ hour
Tuesday

Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong is a wonderful opportunity for staff, students and members of the community to rest at the end of the day. The music, prayer and responses are led by the (Chapel) Choir (accompanied on the organ) using the Book of Common Prayer setting. Psalms, prayers and a hymn and anthem are sung - the congregation is welcome either to participate in the service as directed or to simply sit and let the music wash over them.

Every Wednesday at 5:00 PM for ¾ hour
Thursday

Prayer & Pizza
Prayer & Pizza is an open forum for topical Christian dialogue and discipleship, featuring Bible study, discussions, films, guest speakers and socials, all washed down with free pizza and refreshments. We meet on the top floor of the Old Library.
P&P is followed by Compline (Night Prayer) in the (Chapel).
Every Thursday at 7:30 PM for 2 hours
Compline (Night Prayer)
Compline, also known as Night Prayer, is one of the daily offices of the Church of England. It involves short prayers, readings, responses and a hymn and psalm, and conducted by candlelight. We use the order of service in traditional language, from the Book of Common Prayer.
It is a particularly beautiful way to end an evening, especially if it has been a long day.

Friday
