Middle of the road Anglican/Episcopal Church with about 100 gathered on a Sunday morning. Amazing building! As well as traditional services, we have alternative worship such as Taize and Celtic in the evenings. We have a very good choir for a parish church, who help out at Sung Eucharist, Choral Evensong and other services. Our hall is used to support many mission activities, particularly 'Broken Chains' a ministry to those 'on the fringe of society'. There is a Sunday School on the first Sunday of the month, and a music group leads worship on the third Sunday. We are committed to the Diocesan Growth Strategy, and we are a small but growing church. Our theology is liberal-evangelical, our doctrinal position is Reformed Catholicism, and we have a broad diversity of views, so we need to be tolerant, includive and to celebrate diversity. We run Alpha courses and occasionally use incense - that's where we are!! Eclectic, discovering and on a journey where we are constantly awed and surprised by a great and gracious God!
