HOLY RESURRECTION ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL is a parish community of the Diocese of Philadelphia & Eastern Pennsylvania of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). Our bishop, Archbishop MARK (Maymon), provides spiritual oversight for our community. The parish community was founded in 1892 by Fr. Alexis Toth (now a canonized saint in the Orthodox Church).

The mission of HROC is to worship & glorify God; the Father, the Son Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit. To proclaim the Good News, that God became incarnate as the God-Man Jesus Christ. That Jesus Christ has taken the sins of the world upon Him and reconciled all of the Creation back to God the Father and sent to us God the Holy Spirit Who fills us and empowers us to live as Christians in this world. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only-gotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
