Flinders Street Baptist Church
Baptist
Flinders Street Baptist Church has been worshipping in and serving the city of Adelaide since 1861.
Our heritage-listed building which opened in 1863, still retains its simple dignity and warmth. We acknowledge that it stands on traditional Aboriginal Land.
Into Jesus
We are a community of people who are seeking by God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit to love, serve and follow Jesus Christ and draw others into a long and lasting relationship with Him.
In the City
Throughout our history we have engaged in worship and ministry to meet the needs of people living or working in the city. We follow the Biblical call to seek and pray for the welfare of the city. In addition to our Church based ministries we currently assist the Sturt Street Community School through the World Vision Kid’s Hope Mentoring Programme and actively support Westcare.
