The UCC Church is the oldest in Colville, having first welcomed people in 1890. During the past 128 years, we have been led by the Spirit to move forward with open minds and hearts. The Still Speaking God guides us into the future using Biblical Scripture of the past. We are followers of Jesus, “the Word made flesh dwelling among us.” We also recognize that science can teach us about the reality of this Love Creation that extends far beyond our universe.
Being a progressive, open and affirming church, we support the spiritual journeys of all. We welcome people of any sexual orientation or gender identity. Our desire is to share testimonies of faith, our quest to live in God’s Love. We strive to treat each other with love and respect, regardless of our differences. Our spiritual mission requires no testing of “proper” faith or doctrine. We believe this is a way to inner peace, which can contribute to peace in the world, as we journey together toward God. We wish to be repairers of the breach in a broken world. Join us on this unique journey, Sunday mornings at 10:00 and at our community meal on Friday at 11:30.
