We are a friendly and loyal group of people that spends just as much time each Sunday in the post-service fellowship time as we do in formal worship! Recently our choir has been resurrected with over 16 members, performing in a variety of contexts. Our confirmation program is a shared ministry with a local Anglican congregation and another Lutheran one (German Martin Luther). We emphasize study of the bible in our life together, notably in the women's group ministry and weekly lectionary group. In the community we are active in a local chaplaincy ministry among the poor. We seek to balance action with contemplation by offering a weekly Christian Meditation group -- the only one meeting in a Lutheran church in Eastern Ontario.
