Doxford at Sunderland, Tyne and Wear is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Doxford is to make an impact for God, here in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Morning Worship
Sunday morning Worship at St Wilfrid's takes a variety of formats. Generally speaking 1st and 3rd Sundays are Holy Communion, 2nd Sundays are Service of the Word, 4th Sundays are All-age Worship and where there is a 5th Sunday we try to vary our style. All of our services are family orientated and child friendly, and we welcome visitors to continue fellowship with us over coffee after the service.

Thursday
Holy Communion
St Wilfrid's Church holds a service of Holy Communion every Thursday morning at 9:30am in Haddington Vale. The service is open to all and new people are always most welcome. We stay afterwards for a cup of tea and chat at the cafe.
