What we do.
The Bible tells us faith has to be lived out through our life and actions. We are committed to loving God, each other, and our community.
We meet weekly on Sunday morning to hear Biblical teaching, worship through singing, prayer, and to take communion. We also enjoy small groups, meet ups, service work, and recreational opportunities during the week.
Who we are.
In 1899 some ordinary folks in Traverse City decided to become a church. A lot has happened since, but we're still a church of regular Traverse City people just like you.
From newly born babies, children and youth, to adults, and senior citizens, our church enjoys intergenerational community. All have a place in our church and something to offer each other.
What we believe.
The Bible is our guide to knowing our creator God, His son Jesus our savior, and the Holy Spirit our counselor who gives us the power to live a holy life. We believe God created us, and that each and every one of us are sinners in need of God's grace and forgiveness. The good news is that by Jesus' death and resurrection we can receive his gift of salvation and eternal life.
