Welcome to Connect Baptist Church – Deagon.
Connect BC came into being in 2012 as a result of the merger of the Sandgate and Geebung Baptist Churches. It was evident throughout the merger process that God had prepared the way and it was only through his provision that we have achieved our present ministry space. It has been a humbling but exciting process.
This present building is stage one of a development designed to provide a comprehensive ministry centre to be developed over the next ten years.
The name Connect expresses the central purpose of the church, which is to facilitate people making connection up with God, with each other within the church and out to our community. The Baptist tag says that we are a member of the network of Queensland Baptist Churches.

Purpose:
To create a culture of relationship with God, each other and our community.
Values:
Care that is expressed through all members of the Church community and which intentionally provides support in specific situations. Discipleship that develops a transformation of the whole person. God given Leadership that is identified released and expressed into active service. Mission that is any intentional activity used to reach others with God’s message of love and salvation. Worship that is expressed in a lifestyle honouring to God, and gatherings that connect with Him and give freedom for the Holy Spirit to move.
