Church of the Holy Spirit welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Aylesbury area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Church of the Holy Spirit at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Church of the Holy Spirit is to make an impact for God, here in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
Sunday
Holy Communion
A traditional style Holy Communion service, using the Common Worship liturgy. It caters for those who draw strength from quieter and more ordered worship within the Church of England. Once a month (usually) the service is Common Worship Morning Prayer.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Worship
An informal Service for the whole family within a relaxed, friendly and non-threatening atmosphere intended to help people know and trust in Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, and feel accepted and loved by his Body, the church. The sung worship
is led by a an accomplished music team and there is a full children’s programme of events, tailored to their age group, including Minibees (3-7s), T4J (years 3-6) and Quench (years 7-9) and a monthly All Age Service which is lively and interactive. Once a month
(usually) the service includes Communion.
Every Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Informal Worship
An informal service with the sung worship led by the church music team. The service provides an opportunity to encourage one another through worship, teaching and prayer ministry in order that the church may be refreshed, built up and equipped to serve God as the Body of Christ in Bedgrove.
Every Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1½ hours
Wednesday
MidweekConnection
An informal family friendly service midweek for those who cannot come on Sundays with lively activities for children
Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for ¾ hour
