Church of The Ascension
Anglican Church
The Church of The Ascension is an Anglican Church, joyously seeking to grow in God’s love and to demonstrate the greatness of Christ by meeting the needs of our diverse community through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
For almost 60 years the Church of The Ascension has served God by reaching out to our neighbors in caring and supportive ways with the love of Christ. We are a community of ordinary people blessed in wisdom, rich in humor, with an abiding affection for each other, working to build a better world. There are no perfect people at the Ascension, and you don't have to be one either to be part of the Ascension.
Christ comes to all of us just as we are - and gives us the grace not to stay that way. Through worship and service, through laughter and prayer and pastoral care, we help each other grow more and more into the image of Christ.
We are a people passionate about many things:
Serving God and people
Children and Families
Prayer
Learning and growing
Being Inclusive our embrace is wide
Worship which is diverse
Social Justice

SUNDAY WORSHIP
The Ascension’s embrace is wide - all are welcome. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we want to be there to help you along, we have a place for you.
Come dressed as makes you feel comfortable and don’t worry if you don’t know when to stand or sit, we don’t always know that ourselves. Our Service Bulletin has cues on when to sit and stand; just join in when and where you feel comfortable.
After the service, join us for coffee and treats which are provided following each service.
