Christ & St Mary welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Armathwaite area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ & St Mary at Armathwaite, Cumbria is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ & St Mary is to make an impact for God, here in Armathwaite, Cumbria by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
Open Gardens and Photographic Exhibition
Come and peer into the open gardens all of which have characters of their own - some old, some new - each one with special charms. Open 12 noon to 5pm on 25 and 26 June 2016.
Tea and cakes will be served in the Village Hall where a photographic exhibition will be staged by members of Carlisle Camera Club.
Armathwaite has two pubs, village shop including a post office, and delightful river side walks. Why not travel by train on the Settle to Carlisle Railway and spend the day in the Eden Valley?
Children are welcome and there is a free Garden Trail for them to follow.
All proceeds from the event will be divided equally between Christ and St Mary's Church and the Village Hall.
Plant sales: Plants for sale at various gardens
Cost: £4 each day. Buy your ticket at the tent in the centre of the village.

Be part of this event which is especially for families. Come along together and join in the fun, making things, eating and hearing stories form the Bible about Harvest.

Come along and sample the puddings - entry £3.50 to include tasting four delicious puddings.
