Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Pennington area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Pennington, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.

This is a quiet Holy Communion which alternates between Book of Common Prayer (first and third) and Common Worship (second and fourth).

Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
Afternoon Service
This is a new form of church on Leigh Sports Village. We begin with a light meal and then worship using a band.

Second Sunday - Cell Service
Third Sunday - Informal Communion
Fourth Sunday - Prayer and Praise

These are small groups meeting in people's homes throughout the week.

Thursday
Healing Communion
This is a service where people receive prayer, the laying on of hands and anointing for healing. It is based loosely around the Book of Common Prayer
Every first Thursday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour
