Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ Church is to make an impact for God, here in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.
Service Times
Compline/Night Prayer
A quiet service of reflection and prayer at the end of the day. Followed by Coffee & Cake
Every first Saturday at 7:00 PM for 20 minutes
Sunday
Morning Prayer
Sunday at 8:30 AM for ½ hour
Sung Eucharist
Join our small and friendly congregation for its main weekly act of worship. Our worship is in the catholic tradition, and although tradtional, it is not too formal. On feast days we use incense.
Our Vicar and Curate preach in a lively and relevant way. At every service there are two bible readings and a psalm used.
All are welcome for tea and coffee in the hall afterwards.
