Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Ainsworth area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Ainsworth, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ Church is to make an impact for God, here in Ainsworth, Lancashire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Traditional early morning BCP Communion service.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes
Family Communion
Family friendly Communion service.
Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour
Youth & Uniform Service
All Age service for everyone but geared towards our uniformed organisations.
Service reverts to Family Communion in July & August.
Incorporates Harvest in October.
Displaced by Remembrance Sunday (November) and Walk of Witness (June);
Every second Sunday at 10:30 AM for 50 minutes
Messy Church
Held at the Church Hall, 106 Bury Old Road, Ainsworth BL2 5PQ
A mixture of crafts, story time, songs, prayers & food.
Every last Sunday at 2:00 PM for 1½ hours
