The name “Charis” is the Greek word for “Grace.” Another name for “Grace” is the “Good News.” We teach the whole word of God, but we teach it based upon God’s love for his church. People who attend our services say, “I was really down when I came, but I left feeling better about myself. I was encouraged by the message. The message was so good. I learned so much from what I was taught.” Good News is Good News to the heart of God’s people. It will make a change in your life.
What We Believe
Pastors Pete and LeeAnn believe that God is intently interested in you and longs for a relationship with you. God Himself made a way for you to come to Him through an advocate who paid the debt no man is able to pay – JESUS.
Jesus restored the pathway to God, the wonderful Creator who is the Father of us all, and “ANYONE” who will receive Jesus as the payment for their sin and step into His magnificent Grace will live forever with God. Grace is freely given to all who will simply call on Him. He will fill you with life where you had only known defeat and failure. The “GOOD NEWS” is “YOU CAN BE SET FREE.”
At Charis, you will hear the message of “GRACE.” Grace is God’s abundant favor and blessings freely given to us, not because of any good works we do, but because of the perfect gift of JESUS.
