Charing Cross Pastoral Charge includes two churches; Charing Cross United Church located in the village of Charing Cross and Wesley United Church located at 22108 Bloomfield Rd, Chatham, Ontario.
Charing Cross and Wesley United Churches became a Pastoral Charge on August 3, 1891. The Charing Cross Pastoral Charge is a very unique and friendly partnering of rural congregations. We work very well together and enjoy the fellowship between the two churches, sharing choirs at each other’s anniversaries, Christmas Eve and Good Friday for joint services.
The Pastoral Charge is friendly, open minded and willing to try new approaches to Worship and Stewardship, yet also respecting traditional ritual. With a talented organist and choir director, music forms an important element of the weekly worship services.
