Cariboo Presbyterian Church
Presbyterian Church
Our mission, is to reach out with the love of Christ to people in rural
and remote areas beyond the reach of the traditional church.
The Cariboo Presbyterian House Church Mission is a mission work of the Presbyterian Church in Canada.
Our mission is to reach out with the love of Christ to those who live beyond the reach of the traditional church in the rural and remotes areas of the Cariboo/Chilcotin region of BC.
Each house church or ministry point is unique and has its own flavour. Some are very small and some host up to 40 people. We involve people of all ages from active kids’ programs and Vacation Bible Schools to outreach work in seniors’ residences.
While we are Presbyterian in structure (and have a session of elders who oversee the whole ministry) we are interdenominational in practice, with people from all kinds of backgrounds. Our emphasis is on building communities of faith in Jesus who will then share that same love with their neighbours and serve their surrounding communities
