Calver Methodist Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to connect to Christianity in the Calver area.
We aim to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.
We are a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God.
Our vision is to make an impact for God, here in Calver, Derbyshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds.
Everyone is welcome, no matter your age, beliefs, or background. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Times
The Church has services about once a month, currently (2024) on the third Sunday but this is not a guaranteed regular pattern so it is best to contact the circuit minister (above) to confirm services.
When there is a service it is at 10:45 am

If there isn't a service then the nearest Church is All Saints Church, Curbar, 0.3 miles away from Calver Methodist.
The Church notice board says that their services are -
Sunday 10:30 am Parish Eucharist
Thursday 10:30 am Eucharist

Bakewell Methodist about 10 minutes drive
Hathersage Methodist about 10 minutes drive away - (Both of these need extra time to find parking)
or Tideswell united Methodist / URC church about 12 minutes drive away but with easier parking
All these Churches have a service every Sunday at 10:30 with the possible exception of Christmas, a united service in Bakewell park and very occasional other dates.
