Our congregation consists mainly of older people. We have three deaconesses who help on Communion Sundays. We no longer have Sunday School. The Bethel Lutheran Church Women (BLCW)were active in the church until November 30, 2010 but have now disbanded. The church ladies cater to funeral lunches and hold special events throughout the year including Mother's Day Tea and Bake Sale in May Other women join the Church women for 'quilting day', and two or three times a year the church sponsors open-house potluck suppers and a musical group. The church women also prepare and serve lunch at the monthly Ryley Village Market. We take turns with other church groups to sponsor evening hymn sings and host a Christmas Party.
